The June 25th Steering Committee Meeting is cancelled.  While all of the
sub-committee work is done, the compiled strategic plan is still "under
construction."  In respect of your time and busy schedules, we will reset
the meeting as soon as the DeshaForward Strategic Plan has been completed
and approved by the Executive Committee. 

In advance of the completed strategic plan, the final "DeshaForward -
Discovery Report" has been posted on the website.   Please look for another
email, very soon, with the date/time and location of the next Steering
Committee meeting at which time the strategic plan will be unveiled and
distributed.

Sam Walls, III, Senior Vice President of Arkansas Capital Corporation, offered a presentation on entrepreneurship and venture finance programs offered through his organization. Participants reviewed the Sub-Committee plans.

A summary of the the discovery report was provided, including an explaination of the methods of data collection, the type of data collected and analyzed by the project team, and the findings. The meeting participants also voted on priority areas for the strategic plan.
